Thank you Sheila. I found your words very helpful, adding to what I preached via Zoom this morning to the St Paul’s United Church in Penmaenmawr. It’s a long time since we last spoke. Pauline and I have lived in Anglesey for 16 years now. My home church is Amlwch English Methodist Church just 2 miles from where I live. I am officially a Methodist these days but I still yearn to be part of the URC. St Paul’s at Pen is actually an LEP with the URC but it runs as a Methodist Church in reality. I have preached in URC Churches occasionally. I visited Old Colwyn URC where the late Keith Forecast worshipped and also Rivertown in Queensferry.
I am so pleased that Macedonia is still active.
