Easter Weekend Activities at Macedonia Church
Maundy Thursday (Thur 14th April) 7:30pm Supper and Story
The supper will be a ‘faith’ supper – just bring something for the supper that you like and we’ll all share the offerings together. We will remember the story of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples, and, subject to the weather, will finish the story of the betrayal and arrest in the church garden. So bring suitable warm (and waterproof) clothing.
Good Friday (Fri 15th April) 10:30am The Lighthouse does Good Friday
Join us at the Lighthouse for a cuppa and a hot cross bun as we continue the Easter story through his trial and execution.
Also on Good Friday 6:30pm Partnership Service
Macedonia is host for the service for the Oldham and Tameside Partnership. A time of remembering and reflecting with our friends from Failsworth and from across the Partnership. All are welcome, whether part of the Partnership, or not.
Easter Day (Sun 17th April) 10:30am Beyond the Cross
Join us for our Sunday worship, café-style as usual, when we will celebrate the climax of the Easter story. Spoiler alert – the cross is not the end!
